Hey he2llo!!!
Welcome on the board Smile

After News:
If you are using tide stops you can trade straight (same direction) as the market reaction at the very first minute.

Forexample:

BreakEvenTrigger = 6
BreakEvenLock = 3
TraingStop = 12
StopLoss = 50 (carefully)

In Opposite direction M1 too:

BreakEvenTrigger = 8
BreakEvenLock = 4
TraingStop = 25
StopLoss = 30 (carefully)
MinimumCandleHigh=25

According to the "red one" :

I suggest to trade the same direction if the result is higher than 50... (Correction = Higher than 51)
With tide stops.

However, I usually trade the same direction if the deviation at least 2 or 2.5 (Henry Liu style)
For Example:

BreakEvenTrigger = 12
BreakEvenLock = 3
TraingStop = 35
StopLoss = 75 (carefully)

Hi Csilla,

Thank you for the question. I'd like to make a correction: If the result at least 51 or even better entry point if the result is higher than 53.

Thank you again,

regards,

Plexy

Henry Liu's News Trigger Sheet:
Usually, If the deviation is matched we trade the same direction. Otherwise in opposite direction. Especially if the deviation is extremely small or none.

Thanks for the welcome plexy

How do we trade US oil news?? And the home sales news just now, for the news system it was a profit but for the news trader EA it did not have a big spike to trigger the orders.. Is the 15 pips away too far, is it advisable to change the pips away?? What is the difference between news system and news trader?

Is the 15 pips away too far, is it advisable to change the pips away?? What is the difference between news system and news trader?

Let me break apart your questions please:

1. How do we trade US oil news??
I usually avoid trades on this news.Years ago it was very tradeable news on USD/CAD pairs by simple News Trader EA (Pipsaway 15-25)

2. New Home Sales US / is the 15 pips away too far?
15 pips settings of PipsAway is a standard. At Quantina we have measured several different types of scheduled news, back in a couple of years. The 15 pips was a "Golden Middle" Very Happy
I suggest you have a look at the chart what happening during these type of news (New Home Sales)
hence the FED doesn't focus on this indicator nowadays, it is not going to affect the market price (so hard as before)
FED is extremely focusing on Inflation reports / indicators. More than Employment rate or NFP.

3. is it advisable to change the pips away?
Yes, once you are familiar with all the other settings and features.
If you reduce the PipsAway too small I'm afraid the spread will catch it first in the wrong direction.
If that is too large you miss the trade or worst (you can not close it with profit)

There are some advanced trades here on this forum who use more than just one News Trade EA on same news at same time (f.e.: 1 with Pipsway 15, another one with 10 PipsAway and another one with 25 PipsAway)

4. What is the difference between news system and news trader?

News Trader: That is based on Straddle Trading Strategy and historical chart and price movements.
News System: It is based on Economic Indicator released data. Compared with Previous and Forecast data.

News System is for advanced traders. There are several different strategies for it.

Thank you

thanx

Andj,

Hi Andj! Smile

Yes, straight. This is a retail sales release, straight with after news trader (M1) and straight with News System. News Trader is not recommended because of the night / Asian session, however usually profitable with it as well.

If your question was regarding the Cash Rate I won't worry about that... (3 hours difference)

Have you traded just once? (1 sell at 00:31)

Also, do not be greedy !!! Very Happy Break Even is still positive, isn't it ? Smile)
