These questions are always coming back time to time:
Which forex news events are tradeable?

I can share a list of "top" high impact of news here, but first of all, you have to know that most of the economic indicators are NOT affect the currency directly.

All-time priority is that economic indicators what the central banks are focusing (usually 1-2 / each country)

For Example:
Everyone's favourite is the US NFP Smile (Non-Farm Payroll)
It is a top priority news event - WAS the top priority, when FED was focusing on it mainly.
FED: The Federal Reserve System is the central banking system of the United States.

In nutshell, once, the FED said that, if the US can add at least 200K new jobs per each month and unemployment rate won't go higher than 5%, FED will increase the Central Bank Rate.
The higher rate means USD strengthens. (BUY USD)
So, in these days all we had to do is to monitor the NFP data and trade on it (Every month usually on the first Friday.

Nowadays, FED is focusing on the inflation reports and inflation indicators. (CPI)
In nutshell again, if central banks increased it will reduce inflation.
FED wants to increase the central bank rate and they can do that if the inflation is getting higher.

So,
If you can read higher CPI (over than 3%) means, the FED, sooner than later, can increase the Central Bank Rate = BUY USD Smile

Once again, you have to focus on the same economic indicator as the Central Banks.
Every indicator is important.

However, these news indicators are "all time" tradeable especially if there is an unexpected deviation:

Interest Rate - long term
Inflation Reports m/m y/y (CPI)
Retail Sales y/y
Employment Rates - (Doesn't valid for the UK - They do not know what means "unemployment" Very Happy )
GDP q/q (the first released data is more tradeable)
Service PMI (in the UK)
Manufacturing PMI (every other country)

Some correction, addition for GDP Q/Q:

There is a 3 type of released GDP q/q data with annualized.
The first released or called Advance is the most tradeable.

Forex Factory:
"While this is q/q data, it's reported in an annualized format (quarterly change x4). The 'Previous' listed is the 'Actual' from the Advance release and therefore the 'History' data will appear unconnected. There are 3 versions of GDP released a month apart - Advance, Preliminary, and Final. The Advance release is the earliest and thus tends to have the most impact;"

What you mean on high deviation?
Maybe you will trade rarely, but definiately in good direction. Smile
If the deviation is hit, all you have to concern is when to close your order Smile)
